2017 – An exciting year for Thompson Authors!
It has been some time since I wrote a blog. With my interview on the Llandeilo Book Fair webpage being published 16th March, it has become quite real that we are in for another exciting year of book fairs starting in Llandeilo on 30th April.

John and myself have been extremely busy since either of us last wrote a blog. My novel ‘The Neem Tree’ is taking shape and John’s sequel ‘The Brindavan Chronicle: Nemesis’ is currently at the publishers and should be out soon for all those people who are eager to see what happens next – I personally can’t wait!
The thing is, this probably doesn’t sound like much but the whole writing process is only one part of the journey. Getting the time to write is one thing, it depends on what is going on during the day, your mood, your health and so on. Then there’s getting your manuscript to the publishers, editing, designing the book cover – not to mention planning the book launch!
So further to publishing books and planning book launches this year, we look forward to participating in many wonderful Book Fairs and Literature Festivals. A few of which are the Llandeilo Book Fair, at Llandeilo Civic Hall 30th April, the Narbeth Book Fair 23rd September in the Queen’s Hall, Narbeth and the annual NAWGFest 1st – 4th September, University of Warwick – which we attend every year as we feel our year is not complete if we miss this grand writing festival!
Finally, the great news is that after our successful ‘Carmarthen Book Fair’ debut last year, The Carmarthen Book Fair will be returning on the 30th September 2017, at St. Peter’s Civic Hall, Carmarthen. Spaces are already filling up fast and more details will follow shortly.
2017 is already shaping up to be an exciting, busy, eventful year for Thompson Authors!
